Roles & Responsibilities
Our client is a tech unicorn with comprehensive product offerings focused on lifestyle services. Known as Asia’s e-commerce super app platform valued at over USD$2 bn and close to 1,000 employees globally, The Group currently seeks an experienced professional to join their growing HQ Finance team.
Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, the Finance Manager (Group Reporting) will be working within a team of 7 members for within the regional finance team. He / She will be responsible for the overall group consolidation of 35 entities, financial reporting, and statutory filing activities in compliance with IFRS standards for the Financial closing for Singapore Holdco. Additionally, the incumbent will be required to tackle intricate and complex accounting issues faced by the businesses. As a senior member of regional finance, He / She will be required to participate and/or lead key process improvement or system enhancement projects which are underway.
Successful candidates will be working with a successful tech start-up under results-oriented leaders who practise open-door policy for their members.
REQUIREMENTS
Chartered Accountant
Degree in Accountancy
At least 10 years working experience in Big 4 accounting firms with commercial exposure to Consolidation, Financial / Statutory Reporting in established MNCs at Group Corporate level
Working knowledge of IFRA, US GAAP, Sarbanes Oxley Compliance (SoX), or US Public listing requirements
Able to work within a fast-paced environment with a fluid business environment due to changing market dynamics
Open to handling manual consolidation for newly acquired entities.
Familiarity with tech businesses a plus
