Roles & Responsibilities
We are looking for SPED Teacher who is passionate to provide inclusive and diverse teaching to allow them to develop a sense of success and to create a steppingstone for their future.
Conduct classroom teaching in an inclusive setting as a homeroom teacher.
Conduct small group teaching sessions for children with learning difficulties.
Design and execute lesson plans based on given syllabus and track progress of students and lessons.
Prepare Individualized Learning Plan (ILP) for students.
Review and development of the syllabus with school’s curriculum team.
Proficiency in using educational technology
Communicate with parents
Work collaboratively in a team and participate in the wider school community.
Create a safe, happy, interesting and lively classroom/s which promotes independence and joy of learning.
Requirements
The candidate should hold a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in education or equivalent from a recognized University.
At least 2 – 5 years relevant teaching experience for primary school age group.
Has relevant working experience with children/people with learning difficulties.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and sensitivity to the needs of a diverse and multicultural environment.
Knowledge & skills to manage behavior through appropriate behavior intervention strategies
Knowledge of various types of disabilities (e.g. ASD, GDD, CP, Down syndrome, HI, VI)
