ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Assistant HR Manager to join our dynamic Human Resources team. The successful candidate will assist in the administration and execution of various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with labor laws. This role is designed for someone looking to grow their career in human resources while making a significant impact on our organization’s people strategy. This is a full-time role based in Singapore.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist the HR Manager in the day-to-day administration of HR operations, including recruitment, employee relations, compensation, benefits, and special projects for employees across Singapore, Malaysia and China locations.
Provide support and guidance to employees on policies, benefits, and contractual obligations, ensurin prompt and professional responses to inquiries.
Prepare and maintain documentation for recruitment, promotions, salary adjustments, terminations, and other staff changes.
Manage employee records, including onboarding, leave tracking, and updates to HR databases.
Conduct and facilitate onboarding processes for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
Oversee benefits enrollment and liaise with Finance for payroll processing and reconciliations.
Lead recruitment initiatives, including writing vacancy notices, managing approvals, and work pass management such as WPOL or EPOL applications through the MOM portal.
Develop and implement HR policies to align with business goals and compliance standards.
Manage employee benefits programs (insurance, CPF, leave policies) and negotiate insurance claims (Workman Compensation, Public Liability).
Monitor and address employee relations, employee lifecycle, performance management, and compliance with labor laws and industry regulations.
Drive employee engagement programs and foster a positive workplace culture.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Diploma/bachelor’s in human resources, Business Administration, or related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in HR functions.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Proficient in MS Office and familiar with HRIS systems
Able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Demonstrates confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive mindset.
IHRP Certification is a plus.
Excellent communication skills
