Roles & Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities
Provide basic care such as checking and recording vital signs, maintaining patients’ hygiene and assisting with daily activities like dressing or eating.
Assessing patients’ condition and implement nursing care plan.
Performing nursing procedures such as wound dressing and management, removal of stitches, venepuncture, changing of urinary catheter and etc.
Ensuring continuity of treatment plans for patients.
Offer a professional source of comfort to the patients and their families.
Explain the patients’ condition or symptoms, listen to their concerns and relay information between the patient and their family.
Administer certain medications to patients under the orders of a physician.
Mindful to alleviate symptoms such as nausea, anxiety and bed sores.
Job Requirements
Diploma/ Degree in Nursing or equivalent.
Registered with Singapore Nursing board.
Minimum 3 years of related experience.
Ability to work both independently as well as in a multidisciplinary team, families and caregivers.
Meticulous and responsible to maintain standards of professional nursing practice.
