Responsibilities:
• Develop new designs, cost reductions, and design modifications in hardware/software that will assure product and technology leadership in accordance with the company’s strategic plan.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of products and processes relating to welding through formal and informal training, technical review, customer visits and general business exposure.
• Prepare and maintain product documentation, instruction manuals, project notes, and design and test documentation.
• Coordinate and handle engineering activities on purchasing and manufacturing. Assist on supplier selection and component evaluation.
• Provide field & technical support for sales team relating to customer’s needs on welding machine.
• May require some travel (domestic as well as international).
• Any other ad-hoc duty or responsibility e.g., progress report preparation and procurement of goods and services etc.
Requirements:
• Degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering
• Experience working with circuit systems / hardware development
• Candidates with no experience are welcome to apply
• Interest in R&D work will be an advantage
• Must be willing to travel
