Responsibilities:
• Commissioning, installation, repairs and maintenance of production equipment and systems
• Provide timely and accurate manufacturing related responses to internal customers
• Assist supervisors and operators to trouble-shoot and resolve specific manufacturing engineering problems
• Analyse and isolate root causes of process issues and develop permanent solutions
• Provide technical support to address process concerns in product developments
• Analyse existing process control systems; determine their effectiveness and seek improvements to enhance productivity, quality and safety
• Actively participate in cost reduction programs
• Lead, train and motivate a team of technicians
• Liaise with contractors for service and repair of machines and ensure their services are in compliance with specifications and safety rules

Requirements:
• Degree in Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a food manufacturing industry
• Hands-on trouble-shooting of plant equipment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
