Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
As an integral part of the Regional Compensation and Benefits Team, the incumbent will support the Regional Head of Compensation and Benefits in developing and delivering the Company’s total reward strategies that help the Company in attracting and retaining talents in the China and Asia Pacific Region. He/she will also manage the and compensation and benefits programs and processes to ensure market competitiveness and alignment with regional and global policies, and compliance with applicable laws, regulations and policies, in close partnership with the Group Companies’ (GCs) HR Teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage region job evaluations, model salary structures, competitiveness analysis, salary surveys submissions, and data collection to drive compensation decisions.
Evaluate program feasibility and provide support on cost modelling and simulation.
In partnership with country HR team, manage, monitor and enhance the effectiveness of programs, policies, guidelines, and processes within the region.
Keep abreast of local markets trends and practices, provide market insights and required recommendations, in line with total reward strategies to effectively attract and retain talents.
Partners country HR Team and business stakeholders to design and deliver effective rewards solutions to support business direction.
Manage region benefit competitiveness analysis, partner local HR teams in the review of market findings, proposed recommendation and to conduct cost evaluation analysis.
Manage region broking for health and risk benefits programs across the region. Partner country HR team to identify opportunities to leverage across locations and to reap potential cost benefits whilst balancing program effectiveness.
Act as a consultant to business and country HR team by providing advise on country job evaluations, market trends and practices within the region.
Responsible for other Compensation & Benefits related projects and duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in human resources, business management or administration, from an accredited university.
5 years of solid compensation and benefits experience in the China and Asia Pacific region. Relevant experience in consulting, project management and HR operations will be advantageous.
Proficient in MS Office skills, especially in Excel and Powerpoint
Strong qualitative and analytical skills, with strong understanding of principles and practices of Compensation and Benefits systems and programs.
Strong interpersonal and consultation skills, with the ability to interact and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Success in driving change, achieving targets and working across the different regions/ countries and teams.
Ability to understand broader business perspectives and approach complex issues with appropriate solutions.
Ability to perform independently under limited supervision in a fast-paced and dynamic working environment.
High level of integrity, respect for others, persistence and passion for success.
Ability to create and explain presentations at adequate level.
Ability to coordinate and organize meetings in order and organized manner.
