Job Description:
• Participate as a member of the business IT team supporting product development labs
• To participate in setup of robust. reliable and secure IT systems and network infrastructure (Windows, virtualization, web servers, networks) for engineers in the lab
• Provide L1 and L2 technical support to enhance productivity of engineers in the area of desktop support, systems and network infrastructure
• Manage file share utilization and user access to business IT-owned Windows file servers.
• Manage data backup using HP Data Protector solution.
Requirement:
• Degree in Network/System/Database Admin or equivalent.
• At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related .1d is required for this position.
• Virtualization knowledge – ESX, Hyper-V, Virtual Connect, VSphere will be an advantage
• MCSE or MCSA certification an advantage
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Some knowledge and practical experience with enterprise system administration and desktop configuration management working with Windows (Windows Enterprise Server 200812012/2016), IT infrastructure/storage management (installation, hardware, trouble-shooting) and network configuration.
• Good trouble shooting skills in Windows/Unix/Linux network environment
• Experience with HPE DL Class servers. networking infrastructure, DNS/DHCP, file servers, RDP, Ethernet switches, VLAN
