Roles & Responsibilities

Role summary

We are looking for an incumbent to be part of the leadership team to oversee the financial management and reporting activities, and be farsighted on the funds utilization in the most efficient manner. He / She has the responsibilities covering all aspect of financial management, financial accounting, budgeting and corporate reporting.

The incumbent is also to drive budget planning as well as supporting headquarter insights and providing financial advice that will allow the best business decisions for the company.

Job Responsibilities

Reporting to CFO & Board of Directors
Responsible for the Risk Management and internal control, complete the annual financial budget according to the company’s business development plan and follow up its implementation
Participate in the analysis of the company’s major investment issues, participate in data analysis & financial modeling and provide financial analysis and assist management in financial decision
Prepare & review monthly, quarterly, mid-year and annual management reporting, analysis and forecast
Collaborate with other HODs to identify , measure and manage organizational risks for improved performance
Establish strong accounting processes, standardization of accounting policies and periodically review and improve existing processes to ensure compliance
Collaborate with operations team, providing guidance on finance related matters (budgetary / spending) to operations team with the aim to achieve financial & business goals
Monitor revenue and overheads and, where appropriate, process corrective action in relation to deviations against budget

Job Requirement

Degree in Finance or Accounting, CPA or CFA is highly desirable
At least 5 years’ experience in a financial related position, such as financial analyst or accountant
Ability to view the business from both an overview perspective as well as the operations tactics
Strong background in financial controlling, and the confidence to work with individuals across companies
Strong leadership and problem-solving skills to implement unique solutions and drive business insights for the company
Ability to work and effectively communicate with senior management and Heads of Business Unit
Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, tax regulations, laws and any other compliance requirements
Strong organizational skills, attentive to details with the ability to meet tight reporting deadlines in a multitasking environment
High computer literacy, proficient in Excel and good knowledge of accounting software, cloud application and systems optimization
Proficient in Chinese language to communicate with our Mandarin speaking business partners
