Main Tasks/Responsibilities:
• Perform trouble shooting on trucks faults on mechanical/electrical/electronic systems
• Ensure all service and repairs are performed thoroughly and in accordance to good quality practice and procedures adhering to manufactures standard 4.
• Attend to outside breakdown of trucks
• Ethical compliance of genuine parts replacement and service rendered according to the checklist and scope of works
• Perform engine, gearbox and other components overhaul
• Test and carried out pre-LTA inspection
• Carry out test drive with customer and explain all technical features of a new truck before hand over
• Able to perform standby duties to attend breakdown during and after office hours
• Able to carry out electrical/electronic troubleshooting when attending breakdown service
Qualifications:
NITEC in Automotive Technology or former NTC 3/2 in Motor Vehicle Mechanics or NTC 3/2 in Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanics
• 3 years in the service and repair of heavy trucks(Japanese and Continental brands
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision
• Knowledge in vehicle Electrical circuit diagram
• Possess valid class 4/5 driving license will be an added advantage
