Roles & Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Director, you will be responsible for leading the Accounts team in managing the accounting activities for the Company including but not limited to:
1. Financial and general ledger accounting
2. Accounts receivables
3. Accounts payables
4. Fixed asset register
5. Financial and management reporting
6. Budgeting
7. Statutory reporting
8. Accounting projects and process improvement
Requirements for the role are as follow:
· Diploma or Degree in Accountancy with at least 5 years’ relevant experience
· Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience
· Prior experience in audit and/or in setting up the accounting infrastructure for a Company would be distinct advantages
· Possess strong and sound technical and professional accounting knowledge
· Must be proficient in MS Office, especially in MS Excel
· Excellent communications and interpersonal skills with ability to build key relationships across all levels with internal and external stakeholders
· Possess strong commercial acumen and business knowledge
· Self-starter who is hands-on, motivated, flexible, meticulous, proactive and action driven
· Strong planning, organizing, prioritization and time management skills
· Strong analytical and problem solving skills with ability to identify and assess problems quickly; to apply judgment and recommend solutions within broadly defined guidelines
· A strong team player with commitment to collaborate with other functions of the Company
· Able to multitask and work under pressure and tight deadlines
