Roles & Responsibilities
The Position
The position is within the Capital Markets IT (CMI) division which manages information systems for capital markets activities which includes Front Office (FO) booking platforms, Sales, Risk Management (RM) control and regulatory reporting systems, financial product and contract valuation systems, and much more.
CMI teams are mainly located in Paris, London, New-York, Hong-Kong, India and Singapore. Current position is based out of Singapore and successful candidate will be able to work in an international context with distributed engineering teams striving for highest quality of delivery.
Mission Context
Must be able to understand the functionalities and enterprise-wide data flows of Capital Marketing banking systems. Should be able to understand the criticality of business processes. Well versed in different type of testing; Functional Testing, Sanity Testing, Regression Testing, User Acceptance Testing etc.
Key Responsibilities
Develop test cases and execute them in every Non-Regression Testing cycle.
Create test data to perform test case execution.
Automate the manual test cases and ensure the maintenance of test scripts.
Run the automated test cases within UFT and BDD Selenium framework.
Maintain the build job in Jenkins
Defect and root cause analysis.
Identify and implement automations to improve efficiency.
Interact with other teams to perform Integration testing and Participation testing.
Develop documentation for application knowledge transition.
Interact with stakeholders, Dev and BAs.
Create and Send daily execution reports to the clients.
Undertake any other duties of a similar level and responsibility as may be required from time to time.
Research, design, and develop software.
Analyse user needs and develop software solutions
Update software, enhances existing software capabilities, and develops and direct software testing and validation procedures.
Work with other engineers to integrate hardware and/or software systems
Develop specifications and performance requirements.
Qualifications
6+ years’ experience in IT.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Must have Scripting languages – VB Script, Java, Selenium
Must have Tools knowledge– HP ALM, Jenkins, Putty, Micro Focus UFT, BDD Cucumber
Good to have DevOps Tools knowledge: GIT, Jenkins, Selenium, Maven,
Must have SQL Server – Database and SQL Query knowledge
Must have Capital Markets domain knowledge
Able to interact with senior management in Business and Technology, as well as technical colleagues
Knowledge and experience of agile methodologies
Excellent presentation skills including oral and written communication skills
Enthusiastic, motivated team player
Industry standard certifications in ITIL and SCRUM methodologies would be beneficial
Besides having greater experience on quality assurance, as a senior analyst the candidate is expected to lead discussions with architectural teams(functional and technical), different stakeholders , investigate and provide solution to compex business issues and promote continuous improvements.
Education Requirements
At least a Bachelor’s degree in any of these faculties:

Information Technology
Programming & Systems Analysis
