about the Job
In this role, you will be responsible for hands-on Java server-side coding to build and maintain real-time trading systems for various asset classes. The position involves full-stack development, primarily utilizing the Spring framework for server-side operations and ReactJS for front-end web development. You will also participate in peer code reviews, write automated tests, and handle some system integration and infrastructure tasks. This is an opportunity to work in a flexible Agile environment, contributing to an in-house built system.
skills and Experience Required
Over 10 years of experience in Java development, specifically focusing on server-side architecture and implementation.
Strong knowledge and at least 5 years of experience with the Spring framework.
Proficiency in designing, developing, securing, and testing RESTful APIs.
Experience with front-end development using ReactJS or other popular JavaScript frameworks.
Comfortable using Maven for build automation, Git for version control, and Bitbucket for code repository management.
Experience with relational databases, particularly Oracle, including schema design and SQL optimization.
Ability to write automated tests using Python, including experience with testing frameworks.
Should be server-side specialists with foundational front-end knowledge and a willingness to learn, or have worked on both front-end and server-side development.
