Job Description:
• The Accountant shall be responsible to assist the Regional Finance Manager on the oversight of the financial operations in Hong Kong Branch and some Singapore functions on timely closing and reporting of the regional offices financial results
• Fully in charge of Hong Kong Branch – including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, monthly closing, Management reporting, Fixed Assets, intercompany reconciliation, Inventory, Corporate Secretary, preparation of all balance sheets schedules, Annual filling and tax filling etc.
• Ensure monthly closing of accounts in accordance to closing timelines
• Preparation balance sheet schedules for Singapore and Hong Kong branch
• Ensure all GL to subledger reconcialitions (AR/AP/Inventory/FA) are performed on timely basis
• Ensure all intercompany reconciliations and confirmation are performed on timely basis
• Fixed Assets accounting for Singapore
• Staff claims and corporate card processing for Singapore
• Any other adhoc project or assignment
Requirement/Experience/Skills:
• Candidate must possess at least Degree in Accountancy and/or ACCA, CIMA
• At least 5 years of relevant working experience preferably in GL accounting
• Experience in SAP ERP system
• Conversant with accounting principles and standards
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications in Excel and Powerpoint.
