Job Description
Working Hours: 8am to 8pm, 8pm to 8am (12 hours shift)

Description:
Perform daily operations role and responsible for the day-to-day smooth execution and continuous operations. Ensure standards and procedures are strictly adhered to.
Perform shift duty to support 24×7 DC Operations
Extensive knowledge garnered working as a Data Center Operator
Thorough knowledge of Data Center Operations with strong knowledge of Operations methodology
Experience in eye-ball checking of system faults and failures
Good technical knowledge on Data Centre monitoring tools.
Possess an in-depth knowledge of data center infrastructure technology and components for installation
Perform Request Fulfillment to register customer requests. Attending to Adhoc Batch Execution.
Execution & Monitoring of Batch Jobs/ Safe envelopes Management.
Operate Electronic Visitation Management System (Update Authorizer and customer access request accurately and promptly).
Perform escorting for customers/visitors/Contractors to the Data Centre
Generate daily/weekly/monthly/yearly/ad-hoc reports when required.
Manage equipment movement in Data Centre.
Participate and support both the internal and external audit. Working with Team Lead and Ops Mgr to update existing process
Perform Event Monitoring for all Data Centre Facilities infrastructure to ensure Data Centre is in normal function (eg. UPS, power, temperature control, humidity, water detection sensor, etc.).
Ensure all DC supporting infrastructure (i.e. Environment Monitoring System (EMS), Access Control Systems, Electronic Visitation Management System) are functioning well.
Coordinate preventive maintenance for DC electrical and mechanical systems with vendors.
Coordinate maintenance and shutdowns.
Perform Root Cause Analysis on Incident.
Manage Incident and Closure.
