Roles & Responsibilities
JOB DESCRIPTION:
– Plan and prepare lesson plans and teaching materials according to the preschool’s curriculum
– Manage classroom, safeguard and ensure that the children are always treated with honour and respect
– Design and create a classroom environment conducive for learning and the holistic development of children
– Establish quality routine care
– Observe and record the children’s progress
– Updating of children’s activities on School Management system
– Foster long-term partnerships and good communication with parents to best support children
– Participate in team planning sessions and collaborate with colleagues to support the preschool centre
– Be a good role model to children and co-workers
– Maintaining professional competency through continual professional development in educating preschoolers
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
– Able to teach in English or Chinese
– Minimum 5 credits for O Levels, including a minimum B4 for English or Chinese
– L2 Certified with qualifications in Early Childhood Teaching Diploma, Early Childhood Certificate and/or Advanced Certificate in Early Years
– Only local applicants intending to or in the midst of pursuing the above qualifications mentioned are also welcome to apply
– Permanent full-time, part-time and ad hoc relief teaching job opportunities are available
– Full-timers must be able to work weekday shift hours of 7am-4pm, 8am-5pm or 10am-7pm and 2 Saturdays per month
– Part-timers are required to work 2pm-7pm weekdays
– Foreign applicants who are physically not in Singapore need not apply.
