Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Reporting to the Managing Director, the Head of marketing will be a key person of the management team and be responsible for building and leading a team of team heads and relationship managers.
• Targeting Singapore’s small and medium enterprises (SMEs), you will lead revenue growth via strategic business development and sales.
• You will be responsible and accountable for the sales target of the department.
• You will also be responsible for overall credit quality Si portfolios and assist in formulating repayment strategies / work-out arrangements in conjunction with clients for problem cases.
• As part of senior management, the Head of marketing will participate and contribute to general strategy and operational decisions of the company.
• He / she is also expected to be a people-developer, who leads and provides direction to the team and coaches and mentors where required.
• As head of the department, he / she is responsible for ensuring that smooth running of the department and be responsible for the preparation of monthly and ad hoc reports.

Requirements:

• Degree and above in financial / business related field.
• 10 – 15 years’ experience in commercial or SME banking field with the last 8 years leading and managing sales teams.
• Strong credit analysis skills and acumen i.e. to be able to quickly assess deal limitations.
• Strong leadership and entrepreneurial, with the charisma to lead by inspiration and example.
• Task and goal oriented.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
