Job Description:
Responsibilities:
Coordinate the day-to-day operational activities with suppliers, internal and external customers and team members to ensure the smooth delivery of oil products.
Check vessel movement and report it to relevant parties. (Scheduling)
Appoint surveyor and superintendent
Screen performing vessels.
Prepare or check all necessary documents for international trades
Calculate demurrage and issue invoice to customers
File cargo transaction documents
Input relevant data into Trading System in a timely manner
Handle others as necessary
Liaise with traders and charterers to ensure that all the contractual obligations arising from cargo deals and charter parties are met.
Liaise with finance team to facilitate smooth invoicing and payment for cargoes, freight and all the operational expenses.
Liaise with charterers to ensure smooth operations, avoid supply disruption and minimise demurrage costs.
Support traders to collect and monitor market information (vessel fixtures, etc)
Support Risk Management Analyst and learn the mechanism
Monitor and report price exposure
May be assigned additional tasks not limited to the above mentioned jobs.
Requirements
Master / bachelor’s degree in any discipline from accredited college or university
Related experience in petrol/petrochemical industry is advantageous
