Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Daily preparation and production of bakery products
Perform baking comparison test by incorporating emulsifiers into baked products
Creating new product prototypes and recipe formulation including tweaking the taste profiles of the food products as based on food taste test results / experimentation
Conceptualize and create new products according to market trend
Responsible for the conceptualization, development, testing and scaling of new recipes
To conduct sensory evaluation and approval of new products / recipes.
Ensure good personal hygiene, proper sanitation and cleanliness of work area and kitchen tools
Decorating finished products
Assist in the modification and improvement of baking products to ensure it is relevant to the current needs of the target customer
Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by the superior

REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum Polytechnic Diploma
Working experience in the baking industry
Passion for baking and positive attitude
Creative and innovative
Highly motivated, customer-centric and able to work independently
A good team player
Good communication skills
Good interpersonal skills
Possess knowledge of baking skills and techniques
Maintain a good knowledge of industry trends and changes
Possess cake decoration skills
Salary depending on working experience
