Job Description:

JOB PURPOSE:
Collaborate with Regional HQs (RHQs) on cost savings projects to achieve container terminal cost savings.
Negotiate terminal contracts with terminal operators directly or through RHQs.
Duties and Responsibilities
Terminal cost savings:
Collaborate with RHQs to derive annual cost savings targets.
Ensure RHQs achieve the global terminal cost savings targets on a monthly basis.
Review and update cost savings projects when targets are not met.
Report cost savings on a monthly basis.
Share cost savings best practices amongst the regions.
Contract negotiations:
Negotiate with terminal operators directly to achieve targeted terminal contact rates.
Collaborate with RHQs to achieve targeted terminal contact rates.

Requirements
Good business judgment and negotiating skills
Strong analytical skills
Good written English and verbal communication skills
Minimum a Bachelor’s degree holder
At least 5 years of experience in container shipping industry.
Experience in cost management and operations preferred.
