Job Description:
• Troubleshooting and resolving System Administration issues.
• Implement/install/configure blade servers / SANs storage / Tape Library at customer site.
• Implement virtualization and data replication techniques
• Carry out periodic Preventive Maintenance (PM) and OS/Anti-Mrus/license patches and data back-ups
• Update and baseline configuration documents. submit monthly reports. perform system hardening. to assess system vulnerability
• Prepared to perform 24/7 support. with 2hr respond to site time. 4hr recovery time. when activated via phone/email. occasional shift-work during exercise support.
Requirements:
• Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent.
• Certification in MOSE. AIX . RHCE, ITIL, VMware or Hyper-V
• Experience in either EMC(Symmetrix) , Symantec Backup, NetApp . VMware . Hyper-V or Stratus HA servers
• 2 – 5 years’ of relevant IT Implementation and maintenance support experience is an advantage
• Experience in IT Infrastructure such as OS. network. storage and backup
