Job Summary

Join Viv’s Schoolhouse as an L2 English Preschool Teacher to design and deliver age-appropriate learning experiences that support children’s holistic development in a nurturing, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences aligned with the centre’s curriculum to promote children’s cognitive, language, social-emotional, and physical development
Observe, document, and assess children’s learning progress to inform teaching strategies and support individual growth
Create and maintain a safe, nurturing, and positive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning
Build and sustain positive relationships with children and families through professional communication about children’s development
Collaborate effectively with fellow educators to contribute to a supportive and cohesive teaching team
Participate actively in school events, celebrations, excursions, and enrichment programmes to enhance children’s learning experiences
Maintain accurate classroom documentation and records in compliance with centre policies
Engage in ongoing professional development to continuously improve teaching practices and educational outcomes
Required competencies and certifications

ECDA L2 English Language (EL) certification or equivalent qualification recognised by ECDA
Relevant Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education – Teaching, or equivalent recognised qualification
Fulfil ECDA requirements for an L2 English preschool educator
Proficient command of spoken and written English
Preferred competencies and qualifications

Relevant preschool teaching experience
Demonstrated passion, patience, and nurturing approach when working with young children
Strong communication and classroom management skills
Responsible, positive attitude with ability to work effectively as part of a team
Willingness to learn and grow professionally

Salary & Benefits
Salary: S$3,200–S$3,800 per month, commensurate with qualifications and relevant experience
