Job Description
Responsible for planning a family(s) of consumable materials to deliver on customer service goals, minimize inventory investment, and optimize the P&L.
Includes daily execution tasks as well as participating in and/or leading cross functional teams and driving projects on behalf of the Region.
This job requires strong organization skills, high levels of analysis, and communication and interface with all levels of the Corporation.

Key Responsibilities
Establish item level inventory targets within and insures consistency with aggregate plans.
Identifies and resolves item level demand issues.
Evaluates supply across the network and re-balances to meet demand as appropriate.
Provides supply/schedule data to Customer Service for order commitment.
Works with Regional Supply Manager and production planning on capacity/material issues.
Provides item level priorities in capacity constrained situations.
Coordinate allocation plans with Sales and Marketing.
Allocates constrained supply to customer orders.
Expedites customer orders with Customer Service and Logistics.
Key participant in Connected Flow processes.
Manages non-productive inventory (SMI)
Portfolio management (request/set up new items, discontinuances, material master updates).
Provide On-Time In-Full reports.
S&OP process to get aggregate and item level forecast.
Stock analysis to manage short, dated material and scrap process.
Key backup for Logistics.

Job Specification (main tasks):
Daily (or as required): Work with Customer/Customer Service/Logistics/Manufacturing for item level orders and sales opportunities.
Weekly: Item level replenishment plan (place PO’s); Manages weekly meeting to review non-productive inventory
Monthly: S&OP process to get aggregate and item level forecast and load requirements into SAP
Quarterly: Lead time analysis and evaluate MRP parameters.Role Requirements
Education:
Diploma or University graduate
Experience:
Minimum 3 years working experience in planning, customer service or logistics.
