about the company
Our client, a leading main contractor is looking for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer for the Jurong Regional Line MRT project. 5.5 days/week or alternate Saturday working with variable bonuses. This MRT is a Design and Build project.
about the job
Undertake detailed geotechnical design and analysis.
Liaise and coordinate with clients, consultant, stakeholders on geotechnical design work and technical issues and resolve geotechnical design discrepancies.
Review all geotechnical design drawings to ensure comply with relevant statutory standards, regulations and codes of practices.
Planning and designing of civil and ground Improvement works.
Evaluate subcontractor’s risk assessment, safe work procedures and method statements
Site evaluation of soil, rock, fault distribution and geological studies on and below the site to determine their engineering properties.
Responsible for attendance to daily site coordination meeting and provide detail coordination with subcontractors.
Coordination with authorities for updates and submission of project design.
Ensure design and drawing approval related to temporary works
skills & experience required
Degree in Civil Engineering/Geotechnical Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years of working experience as a geotechnical engineer with MRT projects in Singapore.
