Job Description:
Responsibilities:
• Develop & implement machining process in terms of 5 axis machining strategies. cutter selection. machining parameters as well as machining cycle time optimisation.
• Develop jig and fixtures for projects
• Provide technical support and training for customer
• Manage projects to achieve timely project execution and closure
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years of experience in similar function
• In-depth knowledge in 5 Axis CNC machining in terms of cutter selection and machining process optimisation
• In-depth knowledge in area of on-machine measurement using touch probe
• Knowledge in Siemens. Heidenhain and Fanuc controller
• 5 Axis CAM software like Hypermill or NX
• Familiar with other processes like turning and grinding
• Good communication skills.
• Able to travel on short notice to support oversea projects
• Aerospace manufacturing experience will be highly considered
