Objectives
Administration and Supervisors of staff in Logistics operation functions including training activities, employee relations and oversee the daily warehousing activities.
Job Description
Supervise operational staff to ensure smooth flow of work and in maintaining quality operations.
Planning and delegation of workload according to the requirements to ensure that the assigned work is completed on time.
Maintain high quality of work.
Ensure staff follows the rules and regulations of the company.
Identify areas of improvement and establish innovative or adjust existing work procedures and practices.
Problem solving within his/her capability as a supervisor.
Ensure general safety of daily operations.
Providing reports and activity updates to management.
Adhere to company SOP.
Lead and motivate junior staffs.
Monitors employee attendances and absenteeism.
Train or ensure that staffs are properly trained for their specific roles.
Responsible for the daily housekeeping.
Responsible for inventory accuracy and in supporting Assistant Manager/Manager in reconciliation of discrepancy.
Requirement
Possess at least GCE O Level
3 years of relevant experience as warehouse supervisor or at least 5 years’ experience for those without GCE O Level
Possess forklift license
Computer literate
Able to perform overtime as and when required
