Job Description:
Responsibilities:
• Provide event management consultancy services and overall logistic and project and stakeholders’ management
• Plan, manage and execute events including the following:
– Develop, monitor and manage event within approved project budget and timeline
– Source, evaluate and negotiate on conference and hospitality venues
– Managing the registration process including maintaining and updating invitee database and flight and hotel bookings etc.
– Provide speakers’ liaison and management
– Work with and manage third party vendors for all events’ needs, including staging and audio visual requirements
– Responsible for successful delivery of the event, ensure smooth communication with partners, vendors, manage registration desk and the onsite team 0 Work with and/or manage assigned project team
– Implement management system and administration procedures to ensure efficiency
– Supports business development requirements for new clients/new event opportunities, including development of proposals and attending/presenting at pitch meetings
– Account Management
– Build and strengthen relationships with event owners
Requirements:
• General University Degree
• 3 — 6 years of Event Management experience involving high profile guests and senior management
• Good Microsoft Office Skills
• Meticulous
• Good interpersonal skills, communication skills and project management skills
• Good team player
• Able to work independently
• Driven, confident and well groomed
