Roles & Responsibilities
Main Responsibilities
Research, design, and develop software.
Develop specifications and performance requirements.
Develop, implement and test components from functional specifications.
Analyse user needs and develop software solutions
Work with other engineers to integrate hardware and/or software systems
Participate in technical discussions and propose solutions based on industry best practices.
Elaborate technical specifications, based on functional requirements and high level architecture.
Contribute to technical design and liaise with business analysts on all aspects of business requirements.
Participate in analyzing, resolving and providing technical support escalated to the team.
Draft specifications, technical design, unit tests, peer reviews and detailed system integration documents and any other documents as required during the project lifecycle.
Contribute to maintaining a high standard of delivery quality.
Update software, enhances existing software capabilities, and develops and direct software testing and validation procedures.
Perform level 3 Support of applications in production – analyze and resolve issues as they arise.
Qualifications and Profile
Singaporeans Only
This position requires a minimum of 6 years of relevant experiences in Cobol and ProC.
At least a Bachelor’s degree in any of these faculties: Computer Science / Information Technology / Programming & Systems Analysis / Science (Computer Studies)
General knowledge or background in Banking is a plus
Technical
Hand on experience on Micro Focus COBOL
Hand on experience on C and Pro*C languages
Hand on experience on Shell scripting
Hand on experience on SQL/PL-SQL
Hand on experience on GitLab
Hand on experience on Oracle
Exposure in Docker, Kubernetes
Exposure in Jenkins, Maven
Exposure in CD/CI implementation
Exposure in MQ and CFT

Good oral and written communication skills (English)
Excellent analytical and organizational skills
Proactive and autonomous, with a problem solving orientation.
Experienced working within a LEAN environment
