Job Description:
Responsibilities:
• Procure fabrication /standard parts to support various businesses within the Group. Examples of fabrication parts include sheet metal, machine structures, etc.
• Evaluate and qualify vendor capabilities a. oversee capacity planning and deliveries to meet demand forecasts, especially for long lead items.
• Support vendor development and spearhead material cost down programs.
Requirements:
• Minimum Diploma in an Engineering discipline, preferably in Mechanical / Mechatronics
• Several years of relevant working experience with a good appreciation of machining and / or material costing
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Wide supplier network and contacts
• Able to read mechanical drawings
