Job Description:

Responsibilities:
• Reports to the Director
• Overall responsible for effective project implementation, efficient use of resources till successful projects completion within contractual schedule and budgeted cost
• Leading and mentoring a team by setting guidelines and /or procedures, providing advice and supervision when necessary
• Plan, Manage and co-ordinate all activities related to the work programmes
• Prepare and submit all programmes. schedule, method statement, technical proposal, risk assessment plans.
• Co-ordinate and attend all meetings
• Certification of payment, site disputes, planning of site facilities and workers quarters (if required
• Ensure that all works carried out are in accordance to the specifications
• Submit claims

Requirements:
• Degree in Civil Engineering recognized by Singapore Professional Engineers Board or qualifications acceptable by the commissioner of building control for registration as Resident Engineer
• With more than 5 years relevant Civil Engineering experience (in road works) in Singapore. More than 10 years for a Senior position.
• Must possessed a Class 3 licence
• Able to work within tight schedules and fast tum-around times
• Proven track record of successful project implementation in a construction industry
• Ability to have a strong impact and influence key decisions
• Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills in managing with all levels of staff
• Ability to present a professional image and to act in the best interests of the Company
