Roles & Responsibilities
Assist out-patient clinic
Provide patient education & counselling
Maintain consumables & medication stocks
Assist the Medical Director in the consultation room and procedures both in & outside the Centre
Maintain stocks & inventory of surgical consumables
Assist in laser refractive procedures (e.g. LASIK) & other minor procedures
Upkeep of operating theatre and instrument sterility
Coordinate with external parties (ie. labs, hospitals, clinics & operation theatre, etc) in the management of patients.
Coordinate with external vendors for purchasing & maintenance of equipment and services.
Organise the surgical listing of patients.
Assist the medical director on all administrative duties relating to the smooth running of the centre.
Requirements:
Fully registered with Singapore Nursing Board would be preferred
Previous experience in ophthalmic or surgical nursing will be advantageous
