Job Description:
Job Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage all warehouse personnel
Assure the corrective actions identified in warehouse inspection and accident / non-conformance investigation are effective and implemented in a timely manner.
Identified and promote new technologies and work methods which can be applied to streamline warehousing activities and reduce operational costs.
Plan all the warehouse resources and activities in keeping with the Company’s objectives and targets.
Ensure SOP are well complied with WSH requirements.
Negotiate rates and maintain KPI’s with sub-contractor supplying services to the company.
Ensure relevant HR procedures are followed (appraisals, discipline, grievances etc.) and health and safety requirements are met.
Suggest measures of improvement and development of the warehouse.
Established and monitor procedures relating to the safe use and care of equipment, materials and cleanliness of overall warehouse facilities.
Ensure regular stock count is conducted and ensure accuracy in inventory.
Analyze and implement cost reduction measures in all aspects of warehouse transactions and activities.
Maintain necessary communication strategy for the improvement and awareness of quality issues across all department.
Lead and manage a team of operations personnel & provide career development opportunities through trainings and development
Any other duties as assigned
Requirement:
Has working experience in logistic industry with warehouse management
At least 3 years’ manager experience
Working experience in Japanese company will be advantageous
