Software Development Lead (DevOps)
Our Client is looking for a Lead with expertise in .NET development, with a focus on integrating and spearheading DevOps practices.
You’ll lead the team in developing, implementing, and maintaining web and mobile applications, emphasizing on automation and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
DevOps Integration: Utilize DevOps tools to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
Application Development: Design and implement .NET applications, ensuring they meet project requirements.
Technical Analysis: Translate system requirements into technical solutions, considering DevOps principles.
Integration: Integrate applications with external systems and troubleshoot integration issues.
Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, focusing on automation.
Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop and execute test plans, emphasizing automated testing within the DevOps pipeline.
Documentation: Create technical documentation to support application development within a DevOps framework.
Security: Implement security measures and stay updated on security best practices.
Support and Maintenance: Provide ongoing support and maintenance for applications, focusing on automation and continuous improvement.
Continuous Learning: Stay updated on DevOps and software development trends to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
At least 8+ years of .NET web application development experience, with at least the recent 3 – 5 years in leading a team of developers
Proficiency in .NET C#/Core, ASP.NET MVC, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, SQL, XML, and RESTful APIs.
Experience with DevOps tools and practices.
Previous work in agile environments preferred.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work in a team and manage multiple projects effectively.
Adaptability to changing technologies and project requirements.
