Roles & Responsibilities
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced staff nurse to join our client’s clinic, with responsibilities in both the Operating Theatre (OT) and In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) Clinic.
Responsibilities:
Operating Theatre and Anaesthetic Unit:
Perform pre-operative assessments and ensure AU consumables and equipment are ready.
Prepare and document Controlled Drugs (CD) with another nurse.
Assist the anaesthetist during all phases of surgery.
Conduct post-anaesthesia patient assessments and ensure safety.
Check emergency trolley and maintain drug inventory.
IVF Clinic:
Develop skills in Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART).
Support subfertile couples through treatment cycles, ensuring informed consent and discussing risks.
Provide information, counselling, and support to patients.
Maintain accurate patient records and comply with MOH regulations.
Coordinate oocyte retrieval and embryo transfer, providing counselling and support.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and sterility.
Supervise patient care during IVF procedures.
Qualifications:
Experience in an Operating Theatre, Post Operative Care Unit, and Anaesthetic Unit.
IVF clinic experience is advantageous.
Strong clinical competence, communication, and counselling skills.
Proficiency in taking blood samples and maintaining cleanliness standards.
Conveniently located in Novena, accessible by MRT and Public transport.
