Roles & Responsibilities
OVERVIEW
Provide nursing care for clients in School. Assist visiting doctors at the specialist clinics.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Responsible for medical and dental care of clients
· To cover Nurse for EIPIC and Adult Service in her absence
· Facilitate and assist doctors at the specialist clinics eg. Dental, orthopaedic, neurology, hands clinics etc.
· Educating nursing care and procedures to staff and care givers eg PEG, NG tube feeding, wound care, epilepsy etc.
· Maintain clinic requirements according to MOH standards
· Ensure adequate medical, dental and pharmaceutical supplies in the clinic
· Actively involved in creating awareness on condition of cerebral palsy and the Association
· Organized proper documentation of clients’ medical records, maintain proper inventories of medical supplies purchased
· Ensure welfare and medical needs of clients are attended on-time
· Be observant and vigilant of clients who need attention
· Any other ad-hoc duties when required.
REQUIREMENTS
· Diploma in Nursing
· Registered Nurse with Singapore Nursing Board (SNB)
· Minimum 3 years of experience as a Staff Nurse
