Morgan McKinley we’re on the lookout for a talented Frontend Software Developer to be part of our exciting journey.
This is a 12 month contract role with the potential for long-term employment based on your performance. If you’re passionate about creating exceptional digital experiences and have expertise in Angular, TypeScript, ASP.NET Core, and related technologies, you’ll feel right at home with us.
As a Frontend Developer you’ll be at the forefront of developing and maintaining our web-based applications. You’ll be working with a toolbox of modern technologies, including Visual Studio Code, JIRA, VSTS Git, VSTS DevOps, Jenkins, and Azure to streamline our development processes.
What You’ll Do:
Angular Development: Craft and maintain web applications using Angular (currently Angular 9.x, with plans to update to Angular 12).
Typescript Mastery: Write clean and user-friendly code for frontend components using TypeScript.
ASP.NET Core Expertise: Collaborate with our backend wizards to seamlessly integrate frontend components with ASP.NET Core 3.x.
ASP.NET Core MVC: Maintain ASP.NET Core MVC components to support our web applications.
Visual Studio Code: Your trusty tool for efficient coding, debugging, and version control.
Front End Layer Development: Ensure our applications offer top-notch performance and a seamless user experience.
Collaborative Tools: Use JIRA for sprint planning, defect management, and issue tracking. Team up with VSTS Git for version control and code collaboration. Set up CI/CD pipelines using VSTS DevOps and Jenkins.
Azure Integration: Deploy applications with ease on the Azure cloud platform.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
Proven experience as a Frontend Developer with a strong portfolio showcasing your Angular projects.
Proficiency in Angular (knowledge of Angular 12 is a bonus).
Strong TypeScript skills.
Experience with ASP.NET Core 3.x and ASP.NET Core MVC.
Proficiency in using Visual Studio Code for development.
Familiarity with JIRA, VSTS Git, VSTS DevOps, and Jenkins.
Experience with the Azure cloud platform is a must.
