Responsibility:
1. Provide 1st level system support and supervision. This will encompass:
• Point of contact for all support request, handle service tickets and ensure service level and quality
• Issue resolution — Break/Fix
• Change Requests
• Off-hours support where needed especially for Critical systems issues
2. Responsible for support of projects or change requests where needed and accommodate project/change timelines and work schedules. Comfortable to travel where needed.
Requirements:
Should have 3 years of experience supporting an organization with more than 500 users and 50 servers. Hands on experience in the various technologies:
• Windows Servers, Microsoft Technologies — Exchange, AD, AD RMS, Sharepoint, SQL Server, SCOM, SCCM, Veritas netbackup, Veame, McAfee, Clearswift, SQL Server
• Support other 1ST teams like SAP Basis, Network and applications teams to provide solutions for any IT projects
• Able to work with other disciplines, understand needs, collaborate and provide solutions to meet multi-discipline project requirements
Manage operational admin activities
• Supervising overseas IT teams on respective server tasks
• Providing daily server operational support like systems availability and break fix, server backup monitoring, User account maintenance,
• Maintaining systems – routine patch maintenance
• Updating documentation for system, equipment inventory, SOPs etc
• Preparing status reports for management
• Windows scripting to automate tasks
