Our client manufactures and distributes products (ie. drilling tools) that enable the extraction of oil and gas.
Responsibilities:
• Provide technical advice on premium connections to sales department and customers.
• Support technical evaluation , tenders and RFQs, incl. proposing suitable products and assessing internal manufacturing capabilities
• Evaluate technical aspects on a contract
• Prepare engineering drawings and technical reports
• Work closely with business units to assess weaknesses in the current state and develop future state process through application of continuous improvements (CI) tools and methodologies.
• Manage and/or participate CI projects
Requirements:
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Strong understanding in stress analysis and steel material properties
• Strong understanding in API specifications
• Proficient in CAD
