Roles & Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care plan for each resident.
Administers medication with demonstrated knowledge of medication action, mode of administration, side effects and contraindications
Performs prescribed treatment and procedures in accordance to standard nursing practice to meet patients’ physical and emotional needs
Conducts discharge planning
Documents residents’ progress, care and treatment provided, accurately and timely.
Communicates, participates and contributes actively during doctor’s rounds
Coordinates, participates and contributes to the family conference on complex patient care management
Assists in clinical emergency situations
Provides clinical guidance to junior nursing staff
Assumes additional responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor.
Job Requirements:
Diploma or Degree Nursing or its equivalent
Possess valid SNB license
Relevant working experience
Able to commit 2 shift duties
Able to multi-task and work independently
Good communication skills and a team player
Proficient in MS Office
