Roles & Responsibilities
Job Description:
Requires a detail-oriented individual who will perform a variety of safety analyses for safety critical software.
Tasks including analysing system and software requirement documents and source code for potential safety hazards.
Familiar and have developed safety documents using applicable safety standards:SSPP, FHA, FTA, SAR, PHA etc.
Candidate requires to have a good understanding of the software development processes, had completed one or more SDLCs.
Candidate should be capable of performing safety analyses within a given schedule and can work with minimal supervision.
The position will include collaboration within a team environment while emphasizing individual contributions to produce products that are valuable to the customer.
Candidate must have good people skills, excellent communicator, and the desire to work with a highly technical team of engineers.
Skill Sets:
Knowledge of software development processes.
Knowledge of safety standards.
Software coding experience in C++/Java.
Experience with execution and documentation of safety analyses.
Experience with safety critical software is a plus specially with CMS system.
Experience with safety software tools (Parasoft, MaCabe, TestWell) is a plus.
Familiarity with various operating systems (Linux, Windows)
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude
Ability to work independently.
