Roles & Responsibilities
Job Description:
Perform a variety of safety analyses for safety-critical software.
Analyzing system and software requirement documents and source code for potential safety hazards.
Familiar and have developed safety documents using applicable safety standards: SSPP, FHA, FTA, SAR, PHA etc.
Collaboration within a team environment while emphasizing individual contributions to produce products that are valuable to the customer.
Requirements:
Knowledge of software development processes.
Knowledge of safety standards.
Software coding experience in C++/Java.
Experience with execution and documentation of safety analyses.
Experience with safety-critical software is a plus specially with CMS system.
Experience with safety software tools (Parasoft, MaCabe, TestWell) is a plus.
Familiarity with various operating systems (Linux, Windows)
Good understanding of the software development processes, had completed one or more SDLCs.
Capable of performing safety analyses within a given schedule and can work with minimal supervision.
Must have good people skills, excellent communicator and the desire to work with a highly technical team of engineers.
