Roles & Responsibilities
Investment Company of the People’s Republic of China (Singapore) Pte Ltd is a fully owned subsidiary of the People’s Bank of China. The company manages a part of foreign exchange reserve within the scope authorized by the People’s Bank of China, undertakes and transacts various kinds of investment businesses.
Job Description:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications that meet user needs and business objectives. You should be a team player with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving skills.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, perform requirements analysis, and prioritize development tasks.
Assess operational feasibility by analyzing problems, defining requirements, and proposing effective solutions.
Engage in the full software development lifecycle, delivering and enhancing a robust, scalable, and high-quality codebase.
Participate in code reviews, write technical documentation, and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
Provide production support, troubleshoot system issues, and implement timely fixes to ensure business continuity.
Perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Financial Engineering, or related fields.
Solid programming skills, proficient in VB.NET, ASP.NET, Javascript, EXCEL VBA, SQL, C#.
Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, system design, and software development best practices.
Hands-on experience with SQL database management and querying (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle).
Familiarity with API development, microservices architecture.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive learning attitude.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, capable of performing in a fast-paced financial environment.
