This is a technical role as part of an application development team working on various online systems.
Candidate would work closely with our customers to understand their business model, requirements and translate them into software technical requirements and design document.
Main Responsibilities
Engage in feasibility analysis, negotiate with stakeholders to prioritize applications functionalities and deliverables.
Perform system analysis, database design, process design and develop solutions to fulfill business requirements.
Design, develop and maintain enterprise-scale applications.
Develop and execute unit test cases.
Perform code review.
Perform deep level analysis and comprehend applications engineering activities.
Assist in resolving/troubleshooting technical issues in applications.
Other assignments that might be assigned from time to time.
Requirements
Min Diploma in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
Proficient in Java, Spring, Hibernate, Oracle PL SQL, GIT.
Knowledge in RESTful API, Python, AngularJS, Primefaces, JSF, DB2, JBoss, Apache Tomcat, Maven, JUnit, Jenkins, Linux commands will be an added advantage.
Strong knowledge in Software Development Processes.
Good analytical, documentation and communication skills.
Able to work well in a project team.
Able to approach issues and projects with a sense of ownership, enthusiasm, innovation, and quality with minimum supervision.
At least 2 years of working experience as a Java Developer is preferred for this position.
