Job Description
Console
Liaising with External and Internal Stakeholders for shipment status and handling
Ensuring all shipments are duly accounted and handled based on Customer’s Instructions or SOP
Issue Billing and receipts to Customer / Agents
Entering of Data into AS400 such as Arrival Date, Permit Info
Handling of daily float and Reports to Finance Team
Ad Hoc Duties as assigned by Immediate Supervisor
Customer Service
Liaising with External and Internal Stakeholders for shipment status and handling
Ensuring all shipments are duly accounted and handled based on Customer’s Instructions or SOP
Working with Sales / other function groups for special arrangements
Ensure timely update in AS400 for un-billed for Month End Closing
Billing to customers as per SOP – Ensure all rates are valid at point of Billing
Attending joint customer visits with Sales to understand and establish working relationship

Requirements
Minimum “O” Levels – Candidates with Experience will be considered on case by case basic
3-4 years’ Experience in Import Operations and Customer Service
Able to work on Weekends / OT if required (OT claimable)
Knowledge of Microsoft Office
Responsible with good working attitude
Knowledge of Incoterms
Knowledge of Billing is preferred
Must be willing to transfer / support other teams within Import Airfreight if required
Knowledge of Custom Permits will be preferred
