Roles & Responsibilities
Endoscopy Nurse (5 Days work week Alternate Sat Off)
Involved in Endoscopy/ Gastroscopy procedures and assist with recovery centre when required.
Work with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and surgical nurses to prepare patients for surgery
Record vital signs, instruct patients on the details of the procedures and administer intravenous therapy and medication
Transfer patients to the operating room, and may be asked to clean wounds, sterilize equipment and make sure patients’ rooms are ready for their arrival
Administer tests, analyze lab results and report back to surgeons and doctors
Teach patients how to clean their bandages, take medication and care for themselves after discharged.
Responsive to the surgical team’s request and work as a team to provide quality care for patient in the operating theatre
Assist and support the surgical team in preparing for day-to-day operations
Any other duties as and when assigned
Requirement
At least Diploma in Nursing with at least 2 – 3 years relevant experience.
Valid SNB certification.
