Job Description:
JOB PURPOSE:
Act as the main focal point of communication channel between Company internal parties and the Shipowners/brokers.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Act as the main focal point of communication channel between Company internal parties and the Shipowners/brokers.
Proactive engagement in day to day post-fixture operations and take initiative to provide suggestions to improve Company’s overall operational efficiency and costs reduction.
Manages vessel dry dock, modifications and redelivery coordination with the Shipowners.
Researches, analyzes and reports market information through appropriate means.
Support the Financial Settlement team in verifying the invoices from Shipowners before payment arrangement.
Manages positive working relationship with external/internal stakeholders.
Support other initiatives/ projects or other duties as required.
REQUIREMENTS:
Good understanding of time charter parties and vessel operations.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
Proficient in English language both written and spoken , creative problem-solving and influential negotiation skills.
Able to analyze situations, mitigate and manage risk, and determine a suitable course of action under pressure.
Diploma or Degree in relevant disciplines, preferably from Shipping or Maritime Studies.
Minimum three years’ experience in similar post-fixture at ship owning/operating companies.
