Job Description:
Our client, a well known Main Contractor in the construction industry is looking for candidates for the roles of TBM Engineer.
Responsibilities:
– Control of work quality, safety standards, construction methods in a design and built tunneling project as a part of Managers representative team.
– Review of design and construction methodology from construction perspective. Monitoring the progress of the project strictly following the permissible time parameters.
– Planning of the work and monitoring, Supervising and coordinating with client and sub-contractor.
– Monitor and ensure Inspection and Testing Plans (ITPs) to see if all the hold, approval and witness points are included
– Initiate non-conformance notice for quality related deficiencies, and monitor the non-conformances raised Monitor corrective actions and close-out.
– Periodically report to the OCM on the non-conformance trend
– Prepare daily, weekly & monthly work schedule and reports.
Requirements:
– Diploma, Degree in Civil Engineering or its equivalent discipline
– Open to travel around Singapore to accessible work locations
– Experience in handling MRT bored tunnelling projects
