Roles & Responsibilities
Staff Nurse (GP Clinic)
Job Description:
Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and maintain accurate medical records.
Monitor patient progress and reports.
Assist physicians during procedures.
Ensure infection control protocols and hygiene standards are maintained.
Be able to assess wounds and modify dressing care accordingly.
Perform venepunctures and vaccinations on patients according the clinic SOP and adhering to best/safe practice standards.
Answer and direct phone calls in a courteous and timely manner.
Schedule patient appointments & update existing patient information accurately.
Manage incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and internal documents.
Ensure necessarily follow up action when requested (emailing results to patients, calling back for review), maintaining professional standards and patient confidentiality.
Assist with basic administrative duties and housekeeping as needed.
Comply with clinic policies, data protection regulations, and patient confidentiality standards.
Perform any other duties as and when assigned by the Reporting Officer.
Requirements:
Registered with Singapore Nursing Board
Pleasant personality with good team spirit and interpersonal skills
Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing best practices
Ability to project and maintain the identity and image of the clinic with proper dress code, courtesy and customer handling skills
