Job Description
JOB PURPOSE
Planning optimum quantity of bunkers for assigned service/vessels through close coordination on scheduling and fuel procurement.
Coordination of sludge disposal request from vessels, and supply bunker sampling kits.
Coordination with bunker suppliers to ensure logistics, delivery and quantity.
Procure spot bunker supply and fuel additives when and where necessary.
Following up fuel specification after the bunker delivery and test result.
Analyze monthly Fuel oil consumption and check data consistency.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordination of bunker supply with relevant parties to ensure smooth and timely bunker supply.
Operational efficiency in saving operational cost and time.
Global Teamwork and executing bunker supply with internal/external/global specialist’s support.
REQUIREMENT
Strong Communication skills are required to liaise with various parties.
Diploma or bachelor’s degree preferably in Maritime Studies/ Logistics that is relevant to the job.
Work experience in container shipping industry.
