Job Description
Our client, a well-known company is looking for candidates for the position of Sea Freight Coordinator.
Job Scope:
Coordination, planning, tracing, and executing export movements of Ocean Freight Shipments for customer.
Tracking and updating real time movement and status of every shipment in GT Nexus system as well as generating Excel reports to provide to material planners on changes to ETA of any cargo.
FCL/LCL/CONSOL shipment bookings made with carriers in accordance with customer forecast of container requirements as well as adhere to booking approved contracted lanes and carriers for maximum economic output and time efficiency.
Complete customs clearances, ensuring full compliance to any relevant regulations.
Manage documentation flow. This includes bills of lading, packing lists, commercial invoices and certificates of origin and licenses.
Work in a small team, covering all aspects of the forwarding process.
The Sea Freight Coordinator will book all movement of modes of freight.
Job Requirement:
At least 2 years of Sea Freight experience is essential for this role.
Experience dealing with both Imports and Exports is beneficial.
Knowledge of customs regulations would be desirable.
